Amanda Bynes didn’t walk around naked while tanning

Amanda Bynes

So last week, we learned about the legal battle of our time, as Amanda Bynes vowed to sue In Touch over a false report that she was walking around naked in a tanning salon. Truly, this would be the Kramer vs. Kramer of our generation. (Side note: I never saw that movie. I’m assuming it involved Michael Richards screaming at himself in a mirror?) Well, it turns out that according to the tanning salon’s CEO, as well as security footage, Amanda never ran around the salon nude. Via Us Weekly

Beach Bum Tanning CEO James Oliver is standing by Amanda Bynes’ denial. “Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately,” he tells Us in a statement. “She is a long-time client and we stand by her account.” Unfortunately, Bynes’ headline-making days are far from over. In late September, the Easy A star pleaded not guilty to two separate counts of hit-and-run driving; if convicted, she could face up to a year in jail. She is also facing one DUI charge and two charges of driving on a suspended license.

In all fairness, we should have realized this long ago, since (A) a celebrity walked around naked in New York City and at no point did anyone whip out their phones to take pictures, and (B) Amanda is a retired millionaire, okay? She earned infinity billion dollars per episode on The Amanda Show, and the richest, prettiest girl in the world doesn’t need to walk around naked, all right? Stupid naked poor people.
