i am doing well in my predictions – ‘desperate housewives’ just won – along with ‘paradise now’ for best foreign film! of course as we move into the third hour – we all start to fade! but i am staying on top of all the happenings – so glad ‘brokeback’ won for screenplay! i love that movie!

oh melanie griffith – you just gotta love her – ok did you all see ‘cecil b. demented’ – it’s a john waters film that just rocks – and made me change my opinion on melanie by 360 degrees – although i still have a soft spot for ‘shining through’ – i am having loads of fun – i am thirty today and loving it – yeah a little wine helps – but i so love these awards shows – and tomorrow is the premiere of american idol – i am so in a pop tizzy overdrive! xxoo

oh my goodness did you all just see drew barrymore and her boobs? i thought i was tripping for a second – obviously no bra was involved – i thought they were going to jump out of the TV and swallow me – and i am not one to notice lady’s boobs – but drew’s were beyond out of control – i am surprised they didn’t block it for the west coast delayed feed – and ah i just predicted another one correct – geena davis won for ‘commander-in-chief’ – i just adore since i love ‘beetlejuice’ & ‘thelma & louise’ so much – geena just rocks – and oh yeah who doesn’t love ‘the accidental tourist’?

ok i am 2 for 2 on my predictions – i am SO glad sandra oh won for ‘grey’s anatomy’ – which is one of my favorite shows – and she is just so adorable and how often do you see asian actors getting awards – so rock on ms. oh – you did seem just a wee bit excited – i would watch those drinks if i were you! rock on – are we having fun yet?

first award i predicted correct! george clooney won for best supporting actor in ‘syriana’ – i loved the opening of the show with the whole ‘pussycat dolls’ take-off – and queen latifah was a great way to kick off the show – and damn johnny depp looks hot tonight!

catherine deneuve – you gotta love the french – she really looked like she wanted to run far away from joan – i love ‘umbrellas of cherbourg’ – catherine rules! and now joan gets to do george clooney – something i could do everyday – i just love his whole personality and vibe – and those manly good looks sure don’t hurt – and now melissa is with my dear jeremy piven he is so cute – and i just love my ‘entourage’ – i really am pulling for him to win – oh the commercial breaks are coming fast & furious now!

did you all see marcia cross – she is so wrong tonight – wearing a salmon color dress – it’s just not right – with her red hair and pale skin – this was so the wrong color choice! last year i think she wore green – which is the perfect color for a red-headed lady – joan looked like she wanted to eat zach braff for breakfast – and now joan is going on about ‘weeds’ and mary-louise parker – i bet joan and melissa for sure get stoned – oh did you see gwyneth paltrow – she is glowing with her second pregnancy – i so love my dear gwynnie (and her super hot hubby chris martin) 40 minutes until the show starts…and yes i am doing this from the west coast delayed feed

ah hello! so i am tuned into TV GUIDE channel watching the joan & melissa rivers mess unfold all over the red carpet – i opted to watch this over ryan seacrest on E! – i think joan is at least funny – i think seacrest would be too dry for this red carpet – so i just spotted camryn manheim telling joan that she loves to come to this event just to see joan! she looked decent as she could! i do love her and i so miss ‘eleanor frutt’ and the practice…
did you also catch when joan was interviewing eric bana and his wife about munich – she had the balls to mention the film got mixed reviews and what did he think about that? he covered it up all very graciously – ok back to the show…xxoo
