A memorial service was held here in Los Angeles today for fallen Glee star Cory Monteith. Since it was private affair there are no specific details being released but 20th Century Fox Television did just release the statement below. I can’t imagine what Lea Michele and the rest of the Glee cast are going through, I hope this helped to bring some closure and much needed healing to all involved.

STATEMENT FROM 20TH CENTURY FOX TELEVISION: Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time.
