The 2013 MTV VMAs were last night, which I only caught parts of because I had a class and yadda yadda yadda … no one cares about that, they care about who took home a moonman! (Is MTV’s audience even old enough to remember the original moonman?) So here’s the list of winners, via Spin

Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award
Justin Timberlake

To be honest, I can’t really argue a lot of these wins. For the most part, they were mostly dead on. Janelle Monáe even got an award! The only thing I’d say is that, although the One Direction fans will crucify me for this, there’s no way they had the song of the summer, and I have absolutely no idea who Austin Mahone is, nor do I have any intention of watching him now or in the near future. Sorry ’bout it.
